Kentucky Comeback Falls Short at Louisville

No. 9 Kentucky fought back from a 20-point second half deficit, but came up short 96-88 at No. 12 Louisville tonight.

Freshman Mikel Brown Jr. led the Cardinals (3-0) with a game-high 29 points. Ryan Conwell added 24 points.

Denzel Aberdeen led Kentucky with 26 points and 7 rebounds. Otega Oweh and Collin Chandler chipped in 12 points each.

Tonight was Louisville’s first win over Kentucky since 2020.

The Wildcats (2-1) will try to get back on track against Eastern Michigan Friday night at Rupp Arena.
