The entire SEC, besides Mississippi State and Kentucky, start their season today and as a SEC fan I am looking forward to all the action.

The game of the day is at Cowboys Stadium as Les Miles’ LSU Tigers play the cheaters from Oregon. Every game the SEC plays vs other top conferences is huge for schedule
strength and could play in to ends up in the national championship game.(8pm on ESPN)
Another game of interest is Georgia and Boise State in the Georgia Dome. Mark Richt is on the everlasting hot seat and needs this win just to keep the Dawg fans off his back. It is also a huge game for the SEC as beating Boise will shut every one up about the team from Idaho’s chances of having a shot of sneaking in another BCS bowl…Call me an elitist, but I am a SEC football fan.
Alabama starts its national championship run today(ESPN talking) vs. Kent State….enough said…sucks to be Kent State.(12:15pm on ESPN3)
