Adam Zagoria spoke to recruiting expert Roy Schmidt at the Peach Jam and he thinks Jabari Parker has Kentucky in his top 3.
Citing a long relationship with Parker’s dad, Schmidt thinks Michigan State, Duke, and Kentucky are leaders for the top 2013 recruit.
“In reality, I think only three schools have a chance, Michigan State, Duke and Kentucky,” Schmidt, the editor/publisher of Illinois Prep Bulls-Eye, told SNY.tv at the Peach Jam.
“I do think that Kansas and DePaul have the most shots, but are not favorites in comparison with Michigan State, Duke and Kentucky,” he added. “I think those are the three favorites.”

Schmidt spoke about each school and what they offer Parker and of course, Kentucky’s strength is putting players in the NBA.
On Kentucky: “Coach Cal, plain and simple. His track record speaks for itself in terms of putting players in the NBA and the fact that Jabari’s a likely one-and-done could definitely play in their favor.”

If you want the honest truth, I would be very surprised if Kentucky is the choice for Jabari Parker, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Calipari got him.
That doesn’t make any sense, but you know what I mean.
Recruiting is crazy.
