Adam Zagoria weigh’s in on Marquis Teague, stating that if he continues to play like he did in the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament and if he gets two more weekends to showcase what he can do, he could see a favorable jump in his projected NBA draft position.
Draft Express.com currently has Teague going at No. 41 but a performance like Zagoria describes, along with the fact that Kendall Marshall’s draft status is uncertain due to a fractured wrist, would make Teague the second guard taken overall.
Prior to the start of the Tourney, consensus was that Teague should stay in Lexington for another year. how quickly things can change.
