The Utah Jazz have signed former Kentucky star Oscar Tshiebwe to a two-way contract for the upcoming season.
Tshiebwe played in 14 games for the Jazz last season. He averaged 7.6 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.
In the NBA G League, Tshiebwe averaged a league-best 19.0 rebounds, including 10.7 defensive rebounds and 8.3 offensive rebounds per game. He also averaged 17.1 points and 3.2 assists per game.

SALT LAKE CITY (August 19, 2025) – The Utah Jazz have signed center/forward Oscar Tshiebwe (SHEEB-way) to a two-way contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released.
Tshiebwe (6-9, 250, Kentucky) spent last season with the team on a two-way contract, appearing in 14 games (one start) for the Jazz, averaging 7.6 points on 60.0 percent from the field, along with 8.7 rebounds in 18.2 minutes per contest. In 14 games played, the 25-year-old had 10-or-more rebounds in eight contests and recorded four double-doubles.
With the Salt Lake City Stars in 2024-25, Tshiebwe led the G League in all rebounding categories, averaging 19.0 total rebounds, 10.7 defensive rebounds, and 8.3 offensive rebounds per game, along with 17.1 points, 3.2 assists, and 2.2 steals in 42 games (all starts) over 26 regular season games. A 2025 All-NBA G League First Team selection, he set multiple league records, including the most 20-20 games in a single season (eight), the most offensive rebounds in a single season (305), and became just the third player in league history to record a 30-rebound game (March 3).
Tshiebwe had a storied four-year collegiate career with West Virginia (2019-21) and Kentucky (2021-23) and as a junior in 2021-22 was named the Naismith College Player of the Year, a Consensus All-America First Team selection, and garnered the Kareem Abdul-Jabaar Award, which honors the nation’s top center.
