The Field of 68 Digs Into Red Flags with Kentucky

The guys at The Field of 68 spent some time last night evaluating the panic meter for Kentucky and Kansas.

Rob Dauster said his panic meter for Kentucky is a solid 9.5/10 right now based on many red flags he is seeing with the Wildcats.

“I think that there’s a lot of red flags around [Kentucky] right now,” Dauster said. “The effort and the fight when they kind of get hit in the face…happened against Louisville, happened against Michigan State…was not something that’s very promising. I don’t think the pieces fit together all that well.”

Dauster later said that Mark Pope needs to find his guys who want to compete.

“It’s got to be an effort thing,” he said. “If you’re not gonna play with effort, get the f*** out.”

Randolph Childress said his panic meter with the Cats is a solid 10/10.

“Until you start playing hard, I don’t care what your NIL money is. Sit your ass on the end of the bench,” Childress said bluntly. “Until that happens, I would be worried if I was a Wildcats fan.”
