One person was injured in a shooting that happened in the parking lot during a Mayfield High School football game last night.
“One adult victim was transported by ambulance to Jackson Purchase Medical Center, and was later flown to Nashville for treatment,” the Mayfield Police Department said in a statement. ” Detectives are collecting evidence, and processing the scene.”

The Mayfield Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place Friday night in a parking area adjacent to War Memorial football stadium. One adult victim was transported by ambulance to Jackson Purchase Medical Center, and was later flown to Nashville for treatment. Detectives are collecting evidence, and processing the scene.
The Mayfield Police Department was assisted by the Kentucky State Police, the Graves County Sheriff’s Office, Mayfield EMS, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF.)
