No points, no problem for Kentucky in win over No. 25 Alabama

Without starting guards TyTy Washington and Sahvir Wheeler, No. 4 Kentucky illustrated its ability to adapt and still play well in Saturday’s 90-81 win over No. 25 Alabama.

The Wildcats (22-5, 11-3 SEC) threw Jacob Toppin and Davion Mintz into the starting lineup and still managed to score 90 points and shoot 53.2% from the field.

Kellan Grady led the way with 25 points. Oscar Tshiebwe finished with his usual double-double of 21 points and 14 rebounds. Keion Brooks chipped in 18 points and 8 boards.

With no true point guards in the lineup, Kentucky still managed to dish out 13 assists against only 7 turnovers.

The Wildcats will welcome LSU into Rupp Arena Wednesday night for a chance to avenge a loss earlier this season in Baton Rouge.
