A top 2012 recruit, Montrezl Harrell, is back on the board as he has requested his release from Virginia Tech.

Tech fired coach Seth Greenberg on April 24, then hired former assistant James Johnson a week later. Johnson, who had left the Hokies this offseason for a job at Clemson, was heavily involved in recruiting both Harrell and Rustburg’s Marshall Wood.[/I][/FONT][/COLOR]

Wood requested his release after Greenberg’s firing but has since re-committed to Johnson.[/I][/FONT][/COLOR]
