After Kentucky’s 48-23 win over Eastern Michigan, head coach Mark Stoops talked about his quarterback situation moving forward.
Stoops was pleased with Cutter Boley’s play against Eastern Michigan, but he said he isn’t ready to name Boley the starter moving forward just yet.
“I was pleased with the way he operated; I really was,” Stoops said of Boley. “I don’t think it would be right for me to make that decision right here and now. I was pleased with the way he played. We will get some time and look at it and get back on the practice field.”

Seventh-year quarterback Zach Calzada started Kentucky’s first two games and struggled, albeit against much stiffer competition.
Kentucky has a bye week coming up before they head to South Carolina the following Saturday.
