According to Chris Low of On3, Kentucky and Mark Stoops were able to reach an agreement on the $38 million owed to Stoops due to his contract buyout.
Low reports that Stoops and UK were able to reach an agreement that the money will be paid out over a number of years rather than being due within 60 days.
Stoops was never going to walk away on his own, but when Kentucky approached him about a separation, he said he would be willing to negotiate an agreement allowing UK to spread out payments over a number of years instead of paying $38 million buyout within 60 days of his firing. https://t.co/VvxPDDLTrp
