Mark Pope confirmed on his radio show Monday night that a medical redshirt isn’t out of the question for injured point guard Kerr Kriisa.
“Kerr could get a medical redshirt because he meets qualifications,” Pope said in response to a question from a caller. “The two qualifications are less than 30 percent of the games played…he’s barely under 30 percent…and not played past the mid-point. So that is a possibility.”
Pope also said that he and Kriisa both hope for a return to the court this season.
Kriisa hasn’t played since December 7 against Gonzaga.
