The Atlanta Hawks have waived former Kentucky point guard Lamont Butler.
Butler signed with the Hawks last week and played well in only preseason appearance with the team. He finished with 18 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals in 37 minutes in his only game.
Hopefully another team will give Butler a look. If not, he will likely end up on the Hawks’ G League affiliate.
