The La Familia Kentucky alumni team stormed back to beat Boeheim’s Army 70-66 to advance in The Basketball Tournament.
Boeheim’s Army, the Syracuse alumni team, led 61-58 when the Elam ending hit.
Kahlil Whitney dunked a rebound to pass the target score of 69 and win the game. Archie Goodwin led La Familia with 30 points.

La Familia will battle the winner of Aftershocks (Wichita State) and JHX Hoops (Kansas) in the semifinals.
