Kentucky started a little sluggish, but the Wildcats (3-1, 1-1 SEC) used a big second half to put South Alabama away, 45-21, on Saturday at Kroger Field.
The Cats had three 100-yard rushers in the game, led by CJ Baxter with 16 carries for 149 yards and a touchdown. Jason Patterson ran the ball 12 times for 137 yards and three scores, including a 75-yarder that broke the game open. Jovantae Barnes added 8 rushes for 100 yards and a touchdown.
