Kentucky is officially the No. 9 seed in next weeks Southeastern Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament.
The Wildcats will be playing on Wednesday in the event for the first time ever. Kentucky will battle No. 16 LSU in the first game of the tournament at 12:30 p.m. ET.
If the Cats beat the Tigers, they will face No. 8 Missouri on Thursday at 12:30 p.m. ET.
Friday’s quarterfinal game would be another shot at No. 1 seed Florida.
The Cats are the No. 9 seed in the SEC Tournament and will play at 12:30 in Nashville against LSU.
If the Cats win Mizzou is waiting Thursday at 12:30, and if Kentucky were to start 2-0 Florida would be the Friday opponent.
