Kentucky held off a tough Texas team 85-80 Wednesday night at Rupp Arena.
The Wildcats (13-6, 4-2 SEC) have won four straight SEC games for the first time during the Mark Pope era.
Denzel Aberdeen led the Cats with 19 points. Collin Chandler and Otega Oweh each finished with 18 points. Malachi Moreno chipped in 8 points, 4 rebounds and 5 blocked shots.
