Kentucky’s 24-16 win over Toledo in week 1 wasn’t enough to move the needle in ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI).
The Wildcats (1-0) remain at No. 43 overall in FPI in the updated run of the numbers.
FPI is a computer-based formula system and it is far from perfect. For example, Texas, with opened the season with a loss at Ohio State, is still No. 1 in FPI. The Buckeyes are No. 3.
