Kentucky found some offense last night, but Tennessee found a little more as the Volunteers rolled to a 56-34 win over the Wildcats at Kroger Field.
The 56 points were the most the Wildcats have allowed to the Vols since 2000.
On a bright note for Kentucky (2-5, 0-5 SEC), the Cats have found their quarterback for now and hopefully for the future. Freshman Cutter Boley was 26-for-35 for 330 yards, 5 touchdowns and 1 interception. His 5 touchdowns are a freshman record for UK.
.@cutterBoley is the first freshman QB in school history to throw four touchdowns in a single game.

Wide receiver DJ Miller, another freshman, caught 5 passes for 120 yards and 2 touchdowns. Kendrick Law hauled in 2 catches for 103 yards and a score. J.J. Hester, who has rarely played this season, had 4 catches for 23 yards and 2 touchdowns.
With Seth McGowan out due to injury, Dante Dowdell led the Cats on the ground with 12 carries for 52 yards.
Unfortunately for Kentucky, the Cats seemed to have no answer for the Tennessee offense. Joey Aguilar was 20-for-26 through the air for 396 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Volunteers had three receivers with 100+ receiving yards.
Things don’t get any easier for the Wildcats as they travel to Auburn next weekend.
