If he chooses Kentucky, the 2012 national champions, Mays would join former Wolfpack point guard Ryan Harrow on the Wildcats’ remodeled roster. Five of UK’s underclassmen left school early for the NBA, including forward Anthony Davis, who’s expected to be the No. 1 overall draft pick.

“Can” being the operative word. Mays is still undecided about where he wants to play his final college season. It has been a whirlwind few weeks for Mays, who led the Raiders in scoring (14.1 points) and steals (41). He also averaged 2.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 30 games and was named the conference’s newcomer of the year.

“I knew some schools would be interested but I really didn’t think it would blow up like this,” Mays said.
