John Calipari is making another recruiting trip tonight prior to heading to New Orleans for the SEC Tournament. However, this trip is for a rather unknown (and new) recruiting target.
According to Cavan Walsh, Calipari watched 2013 Colombian big man Tony Trocha of St. Thomas (TX) right now. Texas, Florida, UCLA, and Ohio State are also watching, but Calipari is the only head coach.
Trocha recently moved to Texas from Colombia. He is listed as 6-foot-10, 210-pounds. He has been compared to Baylor’s Perry Jones III.
