Former Kentucky men’s basketball player Erik Daniels is getting it done on the sidelines at Dunbar High School.
Daniels, who scored 1,053 points during his four-year UK career (2000-04), has been named KABC 11th Girls Region Coach of the Year after an impressive 21-4 regular season. The Bulldogs are certainly one of the favorites to win the region.
Another name BBN will likely recognize is Allen Feldhaus Jr., brother of Kentucky Unforgettable Deron Feldhaus. Allen is the KABC Boys 11th Region Coach of the Year. The Indians just finished up a 27-3 regular season. Their star player is Mr. Basketball candidate Jake Feldhaus, who happens to be Deron’s son.
