Earlier today, Coach Cal (or whoever runs his Twitter acct.) had this to say to the BBN:

Let me jump on this plane. I’ll have a surprise for the #BBN when I land. #WeAreUK
This had the Twittersphere abuzz with talk of a commitment, with Cal (and more) headed to the City of Palms High School Basketball Tourney to watch not just Shabazz Muhammad, but also targets Nerlens Noel, Amile Jefferson, and Julius Randle. Sheesh…
Then this report came from Dave Telep, also via Twitter:

Calipari brought the entire staff for Shabazz. Police escort was a nice touch too.
That my traditional, stuffy, basketball coaching friends, is how you recruit.
The night is still young, but I would speculate that the gesture of bringing the entire staff out via police escort is what Cal’s Twitter was referring to earlier.
Stay tuned for the latest happenings from the City of Palms Tourney, AKA Hurricane Cal.
