Big Blue Boo 5 Presented By UK HealthCare Set for Tonight

The Kentucky softball team will be holding its annual Big Blue Boo tonight at 7 p.m. ET at John Cropp Stadium.

The Cats will be playing Indiana with gates opening to the public at 5:30 p.m. ET. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Softball team will be holding its annual Big Blue Boo under the sunshine of the Bluegrass at John Cropp Stadium on Friday. UK will be playing Indiana with gates opening to the public at 5:30 p.m. ET followed by first pitch at 7 p.m. ET.

Admission to the event is free for all patrons. Kentucky Softball season ticket holders from 2025 will get a 30-minute exclusive window to enter the fall festival at 5 p.m. ET before it opens to the general public at 5:30 p.m. ET, as has been the case in the past. This year’s event will once again include prizes, competitions, in-game promotions, face painters, BINGO and more.

Parking will be available in the John Cropp Stadium lots, and the purple and blue lots of Kroger Field with free shuttles to and from those lots to JCS before and after the event. Shuttles will be running from 5 p.m. ET until 30 minutes after the final out of the game from the front gates to JCS to all parking lots surrounding the softball complex including Kentucky Proud Park and Kroger Field.

The game will begin at 7 p.m. ET and will be televised on the SEC Network+ and the ESPN app.

Food trucks and normal John Cropp Stadium concessions will be operational for this event with alcohol sold, as well.

Kentucky will be facing the Indiana Hoosiers for the first time in the history of this fall event. Both UK and IU advanced to the NCAA Regional round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament with Kentucky making the Clemson Regional Final and Indiana being eliminated in the Fayetteville Regional opening rounds.
