Anthony Davis was tested for a concussion Friday night after receiving an elbow from Austin Rivers. Yes, that’s the Austin Rivers that played for Duke. I know you didn’t really need another reason not to like Rivers, but it just got easier for most of us. When you watch the video of the incident, it doesn’t look that severe, but it obviously shakes up Davis. Davis will not make the trip to Chicago on Saturday.
Update: The Hornets have announced that Davis sustained a mild concussion and is day-to-day. He won’t make the trip for the Hornets trip to Chicago to face the Bulls.
