Gary Parrish and Jeff Goodman must have bumped their heads, or been black mailed, or perhaps just figured out that they are idiots and decided to go with the opposite of their gut instincts, because they pulled the old switcheroo from their POY Watch updates and tabbed the deserving Anthony Davis as the Player of the Year. Davis is also Freshman of the year and on their First Team of All-Americans.
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is on the second team, and joins Davis on the All-Freshman team.
