Assistant coach Alvin Brooks III thanked Mark Pope and Kentucky for everything after his contract was not renewed for next season.
“Grateful to Coach Pope, AD Mitch Barnhart, and President Dr. Capilouto for the opportunity to be part of the Kentucky family,” Brooks said in a statement on X. “My family and I truly enjoyed our time in Lexington. We trust God’s plan and look forward to what’s next.”
Brooks spent two seasons on Pope’s staff at Kentucky.
