With Cal flying all around the Nation talking with recruits and AAU season starting up, recruiting is taking over the news at an exciting pace. I have come to learn the news can come out of nowhere and some news is really not news at all. For example, 2011 #1 rated recruit Micheal Gilchrist was supposed to be in Lexington last night. He wasn’t. C.J. Leslie is supposed to be going to NC State. We don’t know for sure. Billy Gillispie might be going to Oregon as Head Coach. Eugene bars are smiling. I am looking forward to all the news getting out on who is going where. Cal needs to fill the roster up, because Darius is probably feeling a little lonely right now. Lets how the day unfolded.

[*]The Reds pulled off an improbable win as Drew Stubbs hit a grand slam in the bottom of the 8th inning as the Reds squeaked a 5-4 win over the hated Cubs. Francisco Cordero is a train wreck waiting to happen as he gave up a homerun to Derek Lee and then proceeded to load the bases. He got lucky to get out of the inning to get his first save. Cordero is not very dependable and the fact of the matter is the Reds are stuck with him. They couldn’t give him away.
[*]Speaking of baseball, the UK baseball team picked up a dramatic come-from-behind 7-6 win over No. 24 Alabama on Friday. Burns went 2-for-4 with two home runs. I am going to have to get out to see these guys at least once this year. Anyone want to go?
[*]I am going to the football scrimmage tomorrow at 1pm. I am going to try my best to get as many pics and video as I can. I hope to tweet from the game on @uk_nationofblue and try to keep everyone up to date on what is going on. I am going to really focus on the guys in the red jerseys as I figure most everyone is wondering about the quarterback situation. Hartline is said to be in the lead, but you will hear my opinion on who should be under center tomorrow night sometime.
[*]I am also going to the Ohio/Kentucky All Star game and I am going to really focus on Jarrod Polson. I am going to have video, hopefully, of Polson while he plays. I just hope they have a hospitality room!! I am going to be hungry.

[*]Finally, the news of the week has to be Tiger Woods. i love watching him play right now because of all the fans who yell out things after he hits. There are so many jokes which come to mind it is crazy. I do think he will win the Masters again this weekend. Just goes to show, you can screw your life away, and still have a shot to turn your life around with 52 holes.
