Rekalin Sims Arrested in Lexington

Former Kentucky player Rekalin Sims was arrested in Lexington Friday morning and charged with trafficking drugs within a thousand yards of a school.

According to the arrest report, Sims was taken into custody at 2000 Mercer Road in Lexington, which is the Fedex Express shipping center.

Sims was a junior college transfer for the Kentucky Wildcats. He appeared in 29 games before transferring to Fresno State. He was kicked off the Fresno State team after being charged in connection with the beating and robbery of a disabled man.
