Perry Ellis has made a decision to cut his list to four teams. But they may not be the teams you expect.
Kansas, Kentucky, Kansas State, and Wichita State find themselves a step closer to being the lucky winners in the Ellis sweepstakes.
“Perry decided to keep the schools on the list that he was the most comfortable with,” his mother, Fonda, explained. “That is something very important to him.”
One may ask, what about Duke?
Some (one Scout.com analyst in particular) brought up that Ellis didn’t even have an offer from Duke, despite Coach K following his every move during BOTH evaluation periods.
But that isn’t the reason. Perry definitely has an offer from Duke, and here is why he chose his four:
“These teams have all recruited Perry for a long time and he has a good relationship with them.”
Ellis also has in-home visits planned with Kansas and Kansas State on September 9th.
Either way, all six of Ellis’ previous teams (Kansas, Kansas State, Kentucky, Memphis, Wichita State, and yes, even Duke) have offered Perry Ellis.
