Scout just released their latest basketball rankings for the 2012 class this morning and as usual, Kentucky prospects fill the top 20. One thing I did notice was some of the more drastic movement since the last rankings.
Many of the UK prospects stayed about the same, but the following upward movements were notable:
Kyle Anderson moved UP from #14 to #5
Brandon Ashley moved UP from #8 to #4
Archie Goodwin moved UP from #20 to #14
T.J. Warren moved UP from #39 to #23
Likewise, the following downward movements shocked me:
DaJuan Colemand moved DOWN from #4 to #12
Perry Ellis moved DOWN from #22 to #34
Ricardo Ledo moved DOWN from #9 to #26
I guess it’s not earth-shaking that there is movement, after all people do excel and diminish during the summer circuit. However, any change more than 3 or 4 spots means someone has really made an impression with their play (good or bad).
