We’re edging closer to March Madness with each passing game. Instead of thinking too far ahead, we want to look slightly in the past. The NOB staff has picked our top 3 games up to this point in the season and we now want your help. Of the three games we’ve listed below, we’re asking you to leave a comment and tell us which one you think was the best. And there’s a twist…

Whoever votes for the game that gets the most votes will be entered for a chance to win a FREE UK2K T-shirt. That’s right, we’re giving away a free t-shirt to 1 randomly selected participant to this article who also chose the game that received the most votes. Here are the games to chose from:
1. December 9, 2009: North Carolina vs. Kentucky – Kentucky wins 68-66 and moves further ahead in the quest to be the first team with 2,000 wins. Patrick Patterson scored 19 points and grabbed 7 rebounds while John Wall hit two free throws at the end of the game to put it out of reach for the Tarheels.
2. December 21, 2009: Drexel vs. Kentucky – Kentucky wins 88-44 and becomes the first team to reach 2,000 wins. Although the game wasn’t the most exciting nor action packed, the end result puts this one in our top three. Demarcus Cousin and Patrick Patterson both finish with 18 points in this historic win.
3. February 13, 2010: Tennessee vs. Kentucky – Kentucky win 73-62 thanks to the 24 point performance from John Wall. Tennessee effectively shutdown the inside play of Cousins and Patterson but couldn’t stop the guards. Eric Bledsoe scored 16 points all in the second half to boost the Wildcats past the Vols.
There are our top three. Make your selection and post it below, it’s that simple. You do need to be a registered member so we are able to contact you. Voting ends at 9:00pm on 2-25-2010; also known at tip time for the South Carolina vs. Kentucky game.
