Keith Bogans continues to start for the Bulls as Chicago defeated Memphis 99-96. Bogans got 6 points on 2 of 5 shooting (all from long range). He also had 2 rebounds and 2 assists in 18 minutes of play.
Tayshaun Prince and the Pistons lost to the lowly Cavaliers 97-91. Prince went 7 of 16 shooting and made his only free throw attempt for 15 points overall. He finished his stat line with 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks.
Eric Bledsoe and the Clippers took on the cross-town rival Lakers, losing 112-104. Bledsoe played only 9:22, and scored 0 points (only attempted 2). His only other stats were a rebound and a steal, but he finished with a +7 over/under, which is really good – especially when your team loses.
Jamaal Magloire and Miami overcame Jodie Meeks and the Sixers, 111-99. Magloire played only 3 minutes and scored 0 points (only attempted 1), but unlike Bledsoe he finished with a -5 over/under. He did get 2 rebounds in that time.
Jodie Meeks played 32 minutes in the loss, and scored 14 points on 5 of 13 shooting (3 of 7 from downtown) and made his only free throw attempt. Meeks was good on defense as well, finishing with 3 steals and a rebound.
Orlando beat New Jersey 95-85, but Daniel Orton did not play.
DeMarcus Cousins was Player of the Game for Sacramento (again) as he got a double-double (again) in the Kings 17-point victory over Indiana (110-93). Cousins shot 9 of 17 for 18 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 blocks and a partridge in a pear tree. He finished with a +6 over/under in over 32 minutes as he continues to shine at the PF position.
John Wall was dead-eye accurate from the charity stripe, but not so much from the field as the Wizards lost 114-94 to Denver. Wall made 13 points, shooting 2 of 10 from the field but 9 of 9 from the line. 9 OF 9. That’s some clutch free-throw shooting. He ended up with 6 assists, 3 blocks and 2 rebounds in over 41 minutes of play.
