NBA of the Day 03-07-2011

Rajon Rondo and the Celtics win another one over Milwaukee, 89-83. Rondo scored only 6 points on 3 of 7 shooting, but he did have 8 assists, 4 rebounds and 2 steals in his 38:17 of play.

Nazr Mohammed started again for Oklahoma City as they defeated Phoenix in a high-scoring game (122-118). Mohammed only tallied 4 points on 2 of 4 shooting, and had 4 rebounds and a blocked shot in 16:47.

Keith Bogans’ Bulls overcame Jamaal Magloire’s Heat, 87-86. Bogans shot 1 of 4 from the field (it was a 3-pointer) and added 6 rebounds and 2 steals. Magloire did not play.

Jodie Meeks helped lift Philadelphia over Golden State 125-117. Meeks shot 2 of 9 from the field and 5 of 5 from the line for 11 points overall. He finished his stat line with 5 rebounds, an assist and a steal.

Tayshaun Prince and John Wall went head-to-head as the Pistons beat the Wizards 113-102. Prince got 20 points on 10 of 19 shooting, and nabbed 6 rebounds and 2 assists in 36:58.

Wall received Player of the Game kudos for his 24-point performance. He shot 6 of 15 from the field and an astonishing12 of 13 from the charity stripe. Wall played over 45 minutes and added 7 assists and 5 rebounds.
