Kentucky Recruits Transferring High Schools

High School kids transferring to different schools is nothing new, not even when it’s just for athletic programs. This year it involves some recruits Kentucky is going after.

That school may sound familiar as it brought us Doron Lamb. It’s also the home school of one-time 2011 recruits Quinn Cook and Sidiki Johnson and 2012 recruits Jordan Adams and A.J. Hammons.

L.J. Rose is leaving Second Baptist in Houston to attend Westbury Christian (also in Houston). Rose is the highest profile player on the Westbury team, and to my knowledge UK is not looking at anybody else from that team. Westbury did play for a private school state championship last year though.
