Thank God for Vanderbilt.
The SEC SIDs have put in their votes on the upcoming SEC Football campaign and Kentucky is right where they usually are, right above the Commodores in 5th place.

KENTUCKY WILDCATS
2010 OVERALL/SEC RECORD, SEC EAST FINISH: 6-7, 2-6, fifth place
GOOD NEWS: The defense will mix a 3-4 look to go with the 4-3 defense, and that defense has most of the experience on the team.
BAD NEWS: The Wildcats will be looking to replace slippery tailback Derrick Locke, playmaker Randall Cobb and quarterback Mike Hartline on offense. The heart of the team. Morgan Newton takes over at QB, bringing more of a do-it-all type mentality to the position. But the Wildcats were inconsistent even with their stars.
HI, MY NAME IS: Morgan Newton. Mike Hartline’s replacement had a fine spring – hitting 23-of-44 passes for 256 yards and three touchdowns in the annual Blue/White Game – and is not without experience. He’s passed for almost 1,000 yards and six touchdowns in two seasons with Kentucky.
THE CRYSTAL BALL SAYS: Kentucky could score last year, but was 10th in the league in scoring defense. Without its star power on offense, the Wildcats will have to rely on better defensive play to win SEC games. That seems a tall order in the SEC East.

Maybe Joker can keep the recruiting effort up and pull in several above 3 star players and maybe jump up in the East.
That last sentence contained a lot of maybes, but that is what Kentucky Football is all about.
