Jarnell Stokes Drawing Interest from UK After Blog Post

Five-star prospect from the class of 2012, Jarnell Stokes, has gained interest from Kentucky recently after a blog post.

Several weeks ago in a blog post, the 6-foot-9 forward mentioned Kentucky among six schools of interest. The following day, Kentucky assistant coach coach Orlando Antigua contacted Stokes.

Here is what Stokes had to say about Kentucky(source)…
People told me they’d call. But, Kentucky, those guys don’t call a lot of people. I really like them. They put guys in the pros at all positions. I like that.

Among the other five schools mentioned in the blog were Memphis, Connecticut, Tennessee, Florida and Arkansas. Among all six schools mentioned, he has offers from all besides Florida and Kentucky.

However, with UK starting to gain interest in Stokes, who told KentuckySports.com he draws comparisons to Karl Malone, an offer in never out of the question.
