Kentucky 2014 target JaQuan Lyle spoke to IndyStar.com recently and you can tell he loves the game of basketball.
Lyle’s most recent unofficial visit took him to Kentucky for a look at the facilities and face-to-face chat with coach John Calipari. Though Kentucky isn’t one of the dozen schools that have offered him (he listed Cincinnati, Georgetown, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas State, Louisville, Ohio State, Purdue, SMU, Tennessee, Texas and Xavier as offers), Lyle said the visit went well.

“I got to tour the campus and see where the players stay and talk to coach Cal and watch some workouts,” he said. “I talked to him a lot. He said he recruits the 2014 players, but he’s not going to officially offer any of them because he normally has five players leave (early for the NBA) for he still has to recruit the 2013 class and get some commits there. They eat, sleep and breathe basketball down there (at Kentucky). That’s what I like.”
