Highlands, who have two Wildcats commits on their roster in Patrick Towles and Austin Sheehan, faced off against the number ninth ranked team in the nation in Trinity.
According to reports, Trinity with its highly hyped team including defensive end Jason Hatcher and defensive back Ryan White took control of the game early. While it was only a scrimmage, it still showed just how talented Trinity is. Jason Hatcher, who is a 2013 prospect who holds many offers including the Cats, had several sacks and a blocked punt.
While many were hoping to see a lot of from the field general from Highlands, Towles had a tough night, but showed his cannon of an arm with a couple of great 40+ yard bombs. However, Towles was missing his best two targets, including UK commit Austin Sheehan. But going against Ryan White is always going to a tough challenge who had a great night himself on defense.
The game ended with a lopsided score, with Towles with one touchdown.
Another high school game to watch tomorrow will be one with local Lexington Catholic star Kyle Bolin in action.
