It was thought that top 2012 recruit Anthony Bennett was being recruited by Kentucky, but he spoke with [URL=”http://eye-on-college-basketball-recruiting.blogs.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry/29884776/30224691″]Jeff Borzello of CBS Sports.com[/URL] and that doesn’t seem to be the case.
[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK] Bennett is a 6’7′ forward from Canada who isn’t planning on making a decision until next spring.
He lists West Virginia, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Georgetown, Connecticut, Florida, Florida State, Arizona, UNLV, Washington, Washington, Oregon and Oregon State.
Bennett says that he will narrow down the list after this summer.
This is really surprising that Kentucky isn’t on the list of people that are staying in touch with Bennett.
There have been several articles written that included John Calipari’s interest, but at this time it seems to have slacked off.
I would still keep an eye on Anthony Bennett, because the summer has just gotten started.
