[SIZE=1][FONT=Tahoma]Today there were various reports on Twitter that the team has started a ‘Breakfast Club’ of sorts where the guys get up for an early practice/workout session and then get breakfast together. [/FONT][/SIZE]
[SIZE=1][FONT=Tahoma]It was not disclosed which players are participating, which led to some speculation of as much. I have been pontificating a bit further:[/FONT][/SIZE]
[SIZE=1][FONT=Tahoma]The Tagline for the Movie, the Breakfast Club goes as follows,[/FONT][/SIZE]
[SIZE=1][I][FONT=Tahoma]To the outside world they were simply the Jock, the Brain, the Criminal, the Princess and the Kook…[/FONT][/I][/SIZE]
[SIZE=1][FONT=Tahoma]So who on this team would represent each of these characters? Here’s my take;[/FONT][/SIZE]
[SIZE=1][B][FONT=Tahoma]the Jock:[/FONT][/B][FONT=Tahoma] Being the All-American who has seen his own on and off court drama, Jones could go here or the criminal role at this point, IMO. But we know he wasn’t there this morning…[/FONT][/SIZE]
[SIZE=1][B][FONT=Tahoma]the Brain: [/FONT][/B][FONT=Tahoma]I see this as Kidd-Gilchrist, the over acheiver who doesn’t really need to be there, but still finds himself in the mix and makes it an epic experience.[/FONT][/SIZE]
[SIZE=1][B][FONT=Tahoma]the Criminal: [/FONT][/B][FONT=Tahoma]See the Jock. Also, possibly Beckham (just because of the tattoos and whatnot.)[/FONT][/SIZE]
[SIZE=1][B][FONT=Tahoma]the Princess: [/FONT][/B][FONT=Tahoma]Davis; just because he’s got the game to match Molly Ringwald’s perfect world.[/FONT][/SIZE]
[SIZE=1][B][FONT=Tahoma]the Kook: [/FONT][/B][FONT=Tahoma]Miller, silent most of the time and then randomly goes off…sound familiar?[/FONT][/SIZE]
[SIZE=1][FONT=Tahoma]Before I get a bunch of derision and hate, let me just say that this is purely for amusement and somebody has to be compared to the female roles. No disrespect intended…[/FONT][/SIZE]
