The KHSAA informed teams last night that it inadvertently posted the wrong bracket for the state soccer tournament.
As a result, the original pairings for this week’s state semifinals were altered.
The original schedule for the boy’s semifinals was:
4:30 p.m. – #1 St. Xavier vs. #6 Bardstown
8 p.m. – #3 Dunbar vs. #5 Ryle
Now, it looks like this:
4:30 p.m. – #1 St. Xavier vs. #5 Ryle
7:30 p.m. – #3 Dunbar vs. #6 Bardstown
The semifinal matches will be played at Dunbar (yes, one of the teams gets to host the state semifinals).

The KHSAA has informed us that the semi-final round bracket for the soccer state tournament was published incorrectly and did not follow the state draw from earlier in October.

On the girl’s side, the “correct” semifinal pairings are:
4:30 p.m. – #3 South Oldham vs. Highlands
7:30 p.m. – #1 Central Hardin vs. #2 Dunbar
Again, Dunbar gets to host.
