Excitement is high in Lexington for the Will Stein era, but it’s impossible to tell how much the Wildcats have improved based on what we saw against Youngstown State. Alabama spent much of its season-opening win against East Carolina trying to prove it could run the ball better than last season. It looked better, but it also was East Carolina. Still, new QB1 Keelon Russell showed how dangerous he can be with his legs — whether running for first downs or keeping plays alive so he could throw downfield.
My position: Alabama -10.5
