Sunday’s game between Florida and Alabama is shaping up to be a spicy one.
Last weekend, Florida head coach Todd Golden fired shots at Alabama for adding NBA G league player Charles Bediako to its roster.
“We’re gonna beat ’em anyways,” Golden said frankly.
During yesterday’s pregame press conference for Sunday’s game, Alabama head coach Nate Oats fired back with doubts about the legitimacy of Florida being the best rebounding team in college basketball.
“When you can sit in the lane for 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 seconds at a time, it helps your offensive rebounding quite a bit,” Oats said.

Two thoughts here. First, Florida will be America’s team on Sunday as Alabama has turned itself into college basketball’s biggest heel with the addition of Bediako. Second, is Nate Oats really whining about Florida’s rebounding while he proudly plays with an NBA G League veteran in the lineup?
