2011 Kentucky Wildcats Football Schedule Released

It’s too early to look at the 2011 football season. There are two huge games remaining for Joker Phillips and the Wildcats to get through the first year of Operations: Win. Vanderbilt this weekend and then Tennessee after a week of rest. We all know they are must wins, we all know that the last two games will be what determines if Joker’s first season was a success or not. We’re all looking forward to, and cheering on Coach Phillips and the Wildcats and don’t want to get ahead of ourselves. But since the 2011 schedule is out, let’s take a look at it.

[*]Interestingly, there is no late season week off like we have this year. Could this be a bad thing for the Wildcats late in the year?
[*]There is also not a late season “gimme” like we have this year with Charleston Southern.
[*]Jacksonville State is a pickup game that could help from going through a win drought in like we did this year when conference play began.
[*]SEC season however kicks off with three really tough games: Florida, LSU and South Carolina. Winning one of these games would be a plus to the early SEC season.
[*]I like beating Louisville in the first game of the season. Looks like we’ll have to wait a bit to see it happen in 2011.
[*]Who do you think the game on the 15th will be filled by? Boise State? TCU?
