As many of you know, 2013 guard Xavier Rathan-Mayes has been a very hot topic on the recruiting trail as of late. In the past few months, his stock has continued to grow and more and more teams are becoming interested.
When most recruits say, “Everyone is coming after me,” it is generally a figure of speech and what-not. But when XRM said this earlier, he meant it. From the East Coast to the West Coast, everyone wants Xavier Rathan-Mayes.
With that being said, the Canadian guard hopes to cut his list down soon.
“I will probably cut (my list) down soon, I just have to go back home and talk to my mom about it.”
So where does Kentucky stand with the Huntington Prep (WV) standout?
“I still talk to Coach Orlando [Antigua] a lot. I really like UK,” Rathan-Mayes commented.
Earlier this week, the staff watched XRM and fellow teammate Andrew Wiggins. Both performed very well, but XRM led the team in scoring.
“You have to take advantage of those games when Kentucky is in the stands.”
