Former Kentucky star Nerlens Noel has been sidelined all season after tearing his ACL during his only season at Kentucky, and the Philadelphia 76ers forward has not ruled out playing this season.
Noel tells John Finger of CSNPhilly.com there is a possibility that he could play this year.
Asked whether he could make his NBA debut, Noel said, “There is a possibility.”
“We’re just taking our time with it, being cautious with things,” he said. “I’m definitely worried about my health, but in regards to the whole season, you know, that decision hasn’t been made up. I still have to meet up with my doctors, Dr. (James) Andrews, Dr. Kevin Wilk, and come to a conclusion with that.”
I hope Nerlens don’t rush back to play this season, he needs to rehab and be healthy next year.
