Since Kerry Blackshear has decided to return to college and be a graduate transfer I am wondering who else has been linked to him other than Kentucky.
In other words, who is the competition?
Take a look at some of the teams that were named in articles in recent weeks that Blackshear could be considering.
Texas A&M- Buzz Williams, his former coach at Virginia Tech, is the new coach for the Aggies and is suredly one of the possible spots for Blackshear. Click here to read at SI.com.
North Carolina- ACCSports.com said back on May 20th that the Tarheels had shown interest along with other major programs.
Virginia Tech- In the same article it sounded like the Hokies were a longshot for Blackshear to return and play. Click here to read.
Florida- The Gators are the hometown school, with Blackshear playing his high school basketball in Orlando.
The 6’10” 250lb forward has a lot of nice options and now has time to sit down and weigh all of them.
Let’s hope he really liked his visit to Lexington and remembers it well.
