Yep.
It is Kentucky.
Carrying the state flag: No. 1 Kentucky and No. 6 Louisville
Supporting schools (with Pom/RPI rank): Eastern Kentucky (67/124), Murray State (74/106), Western Kentucky (101/101)
Combined record for these five teams: 64-16Need to know: Home to the top team in the country and another one in the top 10—the two campuses are separated by roughly 80 miles—the Bluegrass State lands in the top spot of our rankings. The grip isn’t rock-solid, though, because the Wildcats and Cardinals don’t have much in the way of support (no other team in the top 50 of the Pomeroy or RPI rankings) and both Kentucky and Louisville have seemed a little vulnerable since the start of conference play. Will the state will stay atop the ranking when we do this again in mid-February? That’s far from a certainty.

You can check the article above to see who is #2, but in my opinion they are far and away below the great state of Kentucky!!
