Former Kentucky star Tyrese Maxey won the 2023-24 NBA Sportsmanship Award this week.
Maxey was surprised to received the Joe Dumars Trophy from his parents.
The NBA Sportsmanship Award is an annual National Basketball Association award given to a player who most “exemplifies the ideals of sportsmanship on the court with ethical behavior, fair play, and integrity.”
